From game-day information to one clear predicted score
A plain-language explanation of how AllSportData builds, updates, freezes, and evaluates MLB game previews.
ASD brings together team form, standings, starting pitching, bullpen quality and workload, player performance, matchup history, confirmed or projected lineups, injuries, and other reliable game-day factors to create a complete preview and predicted score for each matchup.
Before first pitch
Pages update when probable pitchers, lineups, injuries, and other material inputs change. Missing information remains clearly marked rather than being invented.
At game time
The predicted score freezes when the game begins. Live or postgame events cannot rewrite the original prediction.
After the game
The official final score is recorded beside the frozen prediction on the Results page. Predictions are estimates and do not guarantee a result or return.
